Privacy Policy

A private, local-first atlas

You may add memory titles, dates, locations, notes, moods, people names, collection names, photos, and song metadata. In version 1.0, this content is stored locally on your device. Atlas of Me does not operate an account system or developer-controlled cloud database.

Photos

Photo access is optional. Atlas receives only the photos you select through Apple's photo picker. Selected photos are resized and stored in the app's local storage on your device.

Location

Every memory is tied to a place you choose through Apple Maps search. Device location permission is optional and, if granted, is used only to rank nearby search results. Atlas does not continuously track your location or send it to a developer-operated server.

Apple Music

Apple Music access is optional and used to search Apple's catalog and attach song metadata to a memory. Atlas does not play music or access your listening history.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Atlas does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. The developer does not sell personal information.

Sharing

When you share a Memory Card, you choose the destination using the standard iOS share sheet. Atlas does not automatically publish or upload your memories.

Deleting your information

You can delete individual memories and collections inside the app. Deleting Atlas removes its locally stored information from that device, subject to standard device backup behavior managed by Apple.
